Hi everyone! My name is Lindsey Bowman and I'm a sophomore Accounting major at UT from Columbus, Ohio. My flight leaves Columbus tonight at 7:08pm and some of my clothes are still waiting on my brother's bed to go into bags… whoops. However, I just checked the weather in London and the high for tomorrow is 51, so I could probably get by with only packing a bathing suit and flip flops after the recent -12 degree weather here in Cbus. I feel like I'm really packing for some kind of tropical vacation.
I've been to London once before, but only for a couple of days, so all I really remember is eating fish n chips and climbing on top of those giant lions in Trafalgar Square. By this point in Christmas break, I'm itching to explore life outside of excessive holiday overeating and sleeping in til noon. What better people to explore with than the crazies I spent every waking hour with last semester slaving over Econ and Accounting homework?
I can't believe the time has finally come for all of us to ship off! I have no idea what to expect and I can't wait to start our crazy adventure! Talk to you later from across the pond!
Cheers,
Lindsey
