Hi all,
My name is Elizabeth Cao Nguyen and I am yet another thankful member of the Global Leadership Scholars at the University of Tennessee. I am from Chattanooga, Tennessee, a logistics major, and the oldest of four girls.
If I had to pick three words describing how I feel about going to London this next semester, it would definitely be anxious, nervous, and excited. I've never been to Europe before, so I am excited to experience the vast amount of history and culture that it has to offer. On the other hand, I've never been away from my family for more than three weeks, so I am terribly nervous that home won't be just an hour and a half drive away. More than anything though, I am anxious to explore, learn, and live in London with 25 of my comrades and make memories that I will carry on with me long after I return.
GLS Class of 2016 is ready for London, but I don't think London is ready for us.
